  • Safebond Africa Ltd ( SCL) - Automation of Car Park.
 

At the Car terminal a barcode will be scanned and details checked against the manifest database. Matching data will be automatically updated and when details are not found in the database, the system will prompt user for data capture via scan. The system will provide the means to electronically capture, search for and graphically represent the vehicle locations. A graphical representation will indicate occupied and empty slots. The system will allow only one agent to handle a consignment within any given period until a formal request is made to change the agent by the consignee. The system will automatically generate invoice numbers on invoices and provide easy search for any bill of laden within the database.

Times End Compters has been awarded with the contract to automate Safebond Africa Ltd (SCL). The task wll involve developing a software to handle all conventional cargoes that comes through the Tema Port.
 
 
  • Container Terminal Management System
 

The Container Terminal Management System is a software for managing containers at a container terminal. This software is currently in use at the newly constructed Golden Jubilee Terminal (GJT), an off-dock Container Terminal for the Ghana Ports And Harbors Authority in Tema, Ghana. Contents and movements of each container within the yard is monitored and tracked by this software. Additionally, it provides a graphical layout of the Terminal depicting the Stacks, Rows, Columns and Teirs of containers within the terminal. The system also monitors the intake, storage and release of cargo from the Terminal’s Cargo Freight Station (CFS), providing graphical representation of the contents of cargo at the CFS as well. Another remarkable feature of the software is its effective interaction with the Ghana Community Network (GC-NET) System for the extraction of containers and other related information.
